
The OPA seek to appoint a new Operations Maintenance Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient coordination of bulk fuel operations and maintenance planning at several Royal Air Force Stations, in the Central / Southern areas of England.
Working for the OPA (Oil &Pipelines Agency) you will be the primary interface between the RAF Fuels Operating Authority, the DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) and the MMO (Maintenance Management Organisation).
Acting as the site fuels specialist your primary focus will see you look to optimise the operation and maintenance of the fuel’s infrastructure, ensure the delivery of aviation fuel on time, within specification, while maintaining the infrastructure in a safe and compliant state.
You will be expected to work as part of an established team, developing common processes and if required, support operations at RAF Stations outside of their allocated cluster. This role will report to the OPA Air Command Team Manager.
The role will involve regular travel of 2 to 3 days per week (maximum) with the potential for up to 2 overnight stays dependant on the applicant’s geographical location. Therefore, a full (preferably clean) driving licence is essential for the successful candidate.
