Electrical Engineer

OPA are currently looking to appoint a new Electrical Engineer. In this standalone role you will act as the Technical Authority/ Subject Matter Expert for the OPA in respect of all electrical activities on the assets it manages, and ensure they are safe, reliable, robust, and conform to company and Regulatory Policy. The Electrical engineer shall also support the delivery of electrical engineering works by the project engineering teams to specification, on time and within budget.

With responsibility for a number of activities supporting projects, engineering works and supporting electrical maintenance delivery at any one time, the job entails supporting professional contract electrical engineers who conduct engineering activities on the assets that OPA manage. There will be a need to build strong credible working relationships with all internal stakeholders and in particular HSEQ, other Engineering colleagues, as well as with external stakeholders including HSE, EA/SEPA and our MOD Sponsors.
